Kishanchand Ladla &
A Dream of Pure Gold
During the Indo-Pak partition Shri Kishanchad Ladla shifted from Sindh ,Pakistan to India battling countless challenges of establishing a whole new life. From a Gold artisan he worked his way up in life along side his son Shri Mahesh Ladla to one of the biggest jewellery brands in vadodara. In 1950, with a shop in the heart of Mandvi Bazaar and nothing but passion, skill, and an unshakeable commitment to honest trade, Shri Kishanchand Ladla opened the doors of what would become Vadodara's most beloved jewellery institution.
Born into a family of artisans, Kishanchandji believed that jewellery was more than metal and stone — it was memory, emotion, and identity passed down through time. He forged every piece with the same reverence he brought to life itself.
Today, three generations later, the Ladla name carries the weight of over 50,000 families served and a city's worth of cherished memories — a testament to the vision of one extraordinary man.

The Beginning
Kishanchand Ladla opens a Ladla Gold House shop as an artisan in Mandvi Bazaar with a single glass counter and a master craftsman's bench.
1965
Family Expansion
Shri Mahesh Ladla joins Ladla Gold House and with time started his passion towards manufactoring and trading of jewellery artifacts.
1985

Alkapuri Branch Opens
Responding to growing demand from Vadodara's upscale western neighbourhoods, Ladla opens its second branch in Alkapuri — a modern showroom with contemporary design.

Our founding store, nestled in the historic Mandvi Bazaar, is where it all began in 1950. This is the store Kishanchand Ladla built from scratch, and it carries the soul of seven decades of craftsmanship in every corner. Yes, absolutely. Every piece of gold jewellery sold at Ladla Jewellers carries a BIS Hallmark, which guarantees the metal purity as certified by the Bureau of Indian Standards. We've been compliant since before hallmarking became mandatory — it's always been a personal commitment to our customers.
Yes, we have a transparent old gold exchange programme. You can bring your old gold jewellery — from any jeweller — and we will test the purity on the spot using an XRF machine. You'll receive a fair market-rate credit that can be applied toward any new purchase in our store.
Simple custom pieces typically take 7–15 working days. Elaborate bridal sets or pieces with complex stone setting may take 3–5 weeks. During your consultation, our team will give you a realistic timeline and keep you updated at every stage. For urgent requirements, please contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.
All loose diamonds above 0.30 carats come with GIA (Gemological Institute of America) or IGI (International Gemological Institute) certificates. For diamond jewellery sets, we provide our own in-house certificate detailing the total carat weight, colour grade, and clarity grade of all stones used.
We accept cash, NEFT/RTGS bank transfer, UPI (PhonePe, GPay, Paytm), all major debit and credit cards. We do not accept cryptocurrency. For large purchases, advance bookings can be done with a ₹5000 token amount or 75% of Est. gold value for booking gold rate.
